1. Information for ConsumersA consumer is any natural person who enters into a contract for purposes that cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity.
These terms apply to orders placed via the website
www.car-check24.com, by e-mail, via messenger services, by telephone, or by any other means of distance communication.
CAR-CHECK24 provides, in particular, the following services:
on-site vehicle inspection before purchase;
technical vehicle diagnostics;
inspection of the bodywork and paintwork;
computer diagnostics;
test drive, if permitted by the seller;
photo and video documentation of the vehicle condition;
preparation of an inspection report;
verification of VIN, documents and vehicle history;
communication with the seller;
support with checking the purchase agreement;
turnkey vehicle search service;
support with export documents;
support with temporary / export license plates;
organization of vehicle delivery;
additional services related to the purchase, inspection, preparation or transportation of a vehicle;
sale of goods through the CAR-CHECK24 shop, if such goods are available on the website.
2. Right of Withdrawal for ConsumersYou have the right to withdraw from this contract within
14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is:
For service contracts14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract.
Such services include, for example:
on-site vehicle diagnostics;
vehicle inspection before purchase;
verification of VIN and documents;
contact with the seller;
organization of the inspection;
turnkey vehicle search;
support with export documents;
support with temporary / export license plates;
organization of vehicle delivery;
preparation of a report;
other services provided by CAR-CHECK24.
For contracts for the sale of goods14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, received the goods.
If the order consists of several goods that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day the last item is received.
3. How to Exercise the Right of WithdrawalTo exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification regarding the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the 14-day period expires.
4. Electronic Withdrawal FunctionIf the order was placed via the website
www.car-check24.com, the consumer may also use the electronic withdrawal function on the website.
“Cancel / Withdraw Order”After the electronic withdrawal has been submitted, CAR-CHECK24 will send a confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal to the e-mail address provided by the customer.
5. Consequences of WithdrawalIf you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, where applicable.
The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received your notification of withdrawal from this contract.
For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.
You will not be charged any additional fees for the refund.
6. Special Conditions for CAR-CHECK24 ServicesCAR-CHECK24 provides services that are often performed shortly after the order is placed. For example, the customer may order an urgent vehicle inspection, schedule an inspection for an upcoming date, or ask us to immediately contact the seller, check the VIN, prepare the expert’s visit, or begin organizing documents.
If you expressly requested that CAR-CHECK24 begin providing the service before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, you are required to pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the point at which you inform us of your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Services already provided or started may include, for example:
contacting the seller;
checking the availability of the vehicle;
requesting the VIN;
preliminary vehicle check in databases;
checking documents;
coordinating the date and time of the inspection;
booking an expert;
the expert travelling to the vehicle;
actual travel expenses;
on-site vehicle inspection;
photo and video documentation;
computer diagnostics;
test drive;
preparation of the report;
consultation on the inspection results;
organization of export documents;
organization of temporary / export license plates;
organization of vehicle delivery;
other actions carried out as part of your order.
If the service was fully performed before we received your withdrawal and you had previously given your express consent for the service to begin before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and at the same time confirmed that you were aware that your right of withdrawal would be lost after full performance of the contract, the right of withdrawal expires.
7. On-Site Vehicle DiagnosticsWhen ordering an on-site vehicle inspection, the customer instructs CAR-CHECK24 to organize the inspection of a specific vehicle at the specified address.
If the customer cancels the order before the service has started and before an expert has been assigned, a full refund will be issued.
If CAR-CHECK24 has already started performing the service at the customer’s request, for example by contacting the seller, arranging an appointment, assigning an expert, preparing the trip, or if the expert is already on the way to the inspection location, CAR-CHECK24 is entitled to retain the value of the services already provided and the actual costs incurred.
If the expert has already travelled to the vehicle or arrived at the inspection location, the costs for distance, travel and time spent may be retained as actual costs incurred.
If the vehicle was sold before the inspection and CAR-CHECK24 had not yet started performing the service or incurred any costs, the service fee will be refunded to the customer.
If the vehicle was sold after the expert had already been assigned, had started travelling, or costs had already been incurred, CAR-CHECK24 is entitled to retain the actual costs incurred.
8. Rescheduling the Inspection DateThe inspection date may be rescheduled by agreement with CAR-CHECK24.
If the rescheduling is possible without additional costs, it will be done free of charge.
If additional costs arise due to the rescheduling, for example a new route, a repeated expert visit, a change in distance, urgent organization or waiting time on site, these costs may be charged additionally to the customer.
9. Turnkey Vehicle Search ServiceWhen ordering the turnkey vehicle search service, CAR-CHECK24 begins performing the service after payment and order confirmation.
The service may include:
analysis of the customer’s requirements;
selection of suitable vehicle offers;
checking advertisements;
contacting sellers;
requesting VIN numbers;
preliminary check of the vehicle history;
checking the equipment;
negotiations with the seller;
organization of an inspection;
checking the purchase agreement;
support with export-related matters;
consulting the customer during the search process.
If the customer withdraws from the contract after CAR-CHECK24 has already started performing the service at the customer’s request, CAR-CHECK24 is entitled to retain a reasonable part of the service fee corresponding to the work already performed.
If the turnkey vehicle search service has been fully performed and the customer had previously agreed that the service may begin before the expiry of the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal expires after full performance of the service.
10. Export Documents, Temporary / Export License Plates and Individual ServicesIf the customer orders support with export documents, temporary / export license plates, insurance, registration procedures, delivery or other individual services, CAR-CHECK24 may begin performing the service immediately after order confirmation.
If, at the time of withdrawal, costs have already been incurred with third parties, for example costs for insurance, documents, license plates, registration, delivery, reservations, courier services or partner services, such actual costs incurred may be retained.
Individually produced goods or services created specifically at the customer’s request may be excluded from the right of withdrawal if they are made according to the customer’s individual choice or clearly tailored to the customer’s personal needs.
Such goods may include, for example:
individual license plates;
plates with individual text;
specially ordered goods manufactured or adapted for the customer;
other personalized goods.
11. CAR-CHECK24 ShopIf physical goods are sold via the CAR-CHECK24 website, consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days after receiving the goods.
The goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal from the contract.
The deadline is met if the goods are sent before the 14-day period expires.
The customer bears the direct costs of returning the goods unless otherwise expressly agreed.
CAR-CHECK24 may refuse the refund until the goods have been received back or until the customer has provided proof that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.
The customer is only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check their condition, properties and functionality.
12. Exceptions for GoodsThe right of withdrawal does not apply to goods:
made according to the customer’s specifications;
personalized for the customer;
clearly tailored to the customer’s personal needs;
which, by their nature, are not suitable for return;
which have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery;
sealed goods which have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, if such goods are sold through the shop.
13. Digital Reports, VIN Checks and Electronic DocumentsIf the customer orders a digital report, VIN check, electronic document check or other digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, CAR-CHECK24 may begin performance after the customer has given express consent.
If the customer has agreed to immediate performance and confirmed that they are aware that their right of withdrawal may expire after the start or full provision of the digital content, the right of withdrawal may expire in accordance with the law.
If the digital service has already been partially or fully performed before receipt of the withdrawal, CAR-CHECK24 is entitled to retain the value of the service already provided.
14. RefundThe refund will be made using the same means of payment that was used for the original payment, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.
The refund period is up to 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal notice.
If the order was paid by bank transfer, the customer must provide bank details for the refund.
If fees were incurred during payment by banks, payment service providers, international transfers or intermediary banks, CAR-CHECK24 will refund the amount legally due for refund, taking into account services already provided and actual costs incurred.
15. Cancellation Outside the Statutory Right of WithdrawalRegardless of the statutory right of withdrawal, the customer may ask CAR-CHECK24 to cancel or reschedule the order.
CAR-CHECK24 reviews such requests individually.
If the service has not yet started and no costs have been incurred, the order may be cancelled with a full refund.
If the service has already started, an expert has been assigned, preparations have been made, checks have been carried out, appointments have been arranged, travel has taken place or costs have been incurred with third parties, CAR-CHECK24 is entitled to retain the corresponding part of the service fee.
